Our journey began with a simple realization: why not share the passion for books and writing we’ve carried for years? We are a team of two book lovers with a mission to dive into the worlds of diverse genres and share our thoughts with the world.
The story started back in 2009 when I began reading books passionately at the age of 17. Over the years, my love for reading grew alongside my interest in writing. After working as a content executive for several years, I reflected on my career path. During this time, I realized that my true joy came from reading, talking about books, and writing about them. So, why not turn that passion into something of my own?
After sharing this idea with a close friend, who encouraged me to leap, we decided to start Next Book Quest. What began as an idea quickly turned into a partnership, where we both set out on a shared mission to create a space where readers can find honest book reviews, discussions, and recommendations.

Nisha Kalra
Hi, I’m Nisha Kalra! Ever since I can remember, I’ve been passionate about reading, writing, and teaching. My journey has been an interesting one—I started out as a teacher, ventured into social work, and now I work as a content executive. Each step along the way has taught me something new and shaped who I am today.
Books are my happy place, and I love diving into stories from all kinds of genres. Writing is my way of expressing myself and sharing my thoughts, while teaching allows me to connect with others and inspire learning—it’s something I’ve always loved doing.
When I’m not reading or writing, you can usually find me binge-watching my favorite series. I’m hooked on Turkish, Korean, and English dramas—they’re so addictive! I also make it a point to spend time with my three closest friends; they’re like family to me and always keep life fun and meaningful.
